Designer & GC
Over my 20 years of experience in interior design, I have developed an extensive repertoire of unique resources for furniture, decor and remodeling materials that offer luxury looks without the luxury price tag. I’ve gone from owning clothing stores to now decorating and renovating residential & commercial spaces in the DFW Metroplex. I have a hands-on approach, as evidenced by making my own custom furniture and artwork. I’ve also renovated my own investment homes, which led me to becoming extremely resourceful in finding affordable luxury pieces. After being left with a shoestring budget from pouring all my funds into the construction part, I had to figure out how to stage the house before putting it on the market. It was daunting at first, but it taught me that if you know where to look, you can have a home that looks like a million bucks at a fraction of the cost.
My personal design style is Transitional, where Classic meets Modern. I like using natural stone to add color and sculptural forms to bring substantive weight to the room. I think every space needs aged pieces to ground it, and I love mixing in modern touches to keep things fresh. I’m a full believer in buying pieces that speak to you, even if they’re not necessarily on theme in a particular room. There is beauty in the mix-match.
